Brewed for Congleton’s 750th Year Celebrations and to hail the town’s new “Ale Conner”, or Ale Taster.

The original 1272 Town Charter appoints an Ale Taster to ensure the quality of Ale & Bread, plus regulate the prices & measures in which these items were sold.
